SPRING EXHIBITION AT THE ART ACADEMY

The glasshouse, made from windows that was trown away, growing trown away potatoes, onions, peas and garlic. The soil was saved when they digged up the ground to make an arcitect school, and when i took it inside, it started to grow! A piece of outside, inside. A slow performance, shown at the Spring Exhibition in april 2009 at the Academy of Fine Arts, Umeå.

is there a picture in the room?

An installation I made together with Erik Nilsson and Matti Sumari for Portfolio at Sagateatern, Umeå. A gigantic record player into a small hut. The cone had two needles, playing two tracks at the time, creating a confusing conversasion, such as "Is there a picture in the room? It is a wall. Is there a man in the house? Is he in the bath?" In the hut there were space for two persons so sit, and it was really dark inside, all you could see was the small hole in the end of the cone (see the first picture). All made from recycled material.

SECOND HAND RESTURANT

Collecting food from the grocery shops trash cans, then cooked in to delicius vegetarian gourmet food at the SECOND HAND RESTURANT. Food for free, served with love at the Fine Arts Academy in the snowy Umeå. A project I made together with Matti Sumari and with lots of help from our friends.
